Start planning now to attend the Delmarva Folk Festival, Oct 3 and 4 at Clayton, Delaware. This year’s festival promises to be our best yet.

Now in its twenty third year, this outdoor music extravaganza is brought to you by the Delaware Friends of Folk, whose mission is to promote and preserve folk and roots music throughout the Delmarva Peninsula.

EVENTS: Here are some of the events that you can look forward to:
    • Two days of concerts: Regional musicians providing a rich mix of traditional and contemporary music, that you are unlikely to hear in more conventional venues.
    • Music workshops: Teaching tip and tools, licks and tricks, and an appreciation of music Americana.
    • Crafts: Some of this region’s most gifted artisans, who create authentic crafts using traditional methods, and who are always eager to share their métier.
    • Kids’ activities: For the young and young at heart, offering music, tie-dye, face painting, and more.
    • Campfire jam sessions: For festival night owls. All are invited to participate—sing, play, or listen.

PLUS! The Delmarva Folk Hero Contest: You’ll see six finalists from earlier musical “play-offs” contend for the ultimate title of Delmarva’s 2014 “Folk Hero.” The winner will be decided by you--the audience.
